ITD reports to joint legislative committees on 2010 progress
ITD administrators unveiled a visual report card of the department’s quest to become the best in the country when they met with legislators in Boise Thursday.
The annual presentation to the Joint Germane Committee, which included legislators from the House and Senate, included a short video that demonstrated other agencies are trying to emulate ITD’s success. (Watch video)
The video included vignettes of several achievements that have attracted the attention of peers on the national level, and a segment of the governor’s Jan. 10 State of the State Address.
Thursday’s report addressed the status of the transportation system and progress made in the past year. The four general topics covered were:

The department’s next major presentation to legislators will be the budget request to the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee at 9:30 a.m., Feb. 8.
