Community Transportation Association of Idaho recently announced the selection of Elsa MacDonald as its director of programs. She began her duties Monday (April 5).
She will provide high-level, professional expertise to the executive director, association members, public and private agencies and the public, supporting and coordinating mobility in Idaho.
In this role, MacDonald will oversee all communications for CTAI; manage all components of successful conferences and membership events; and administer all training programs, including the RTAP-Idaho program.
MacDonald has extensive experience in marketing, communications, event planning, fundraising and executive training. She has a masters degree in Business Administration and a bachelors degree in Marketing.
In the past two years, she has taught marketing and business communication courses as an adjunct faculty member at Boise State University. She also has been a marketing consultant for food service, construction and beverage companies. Prior to that, MacDonald worked four years as the Communications and Outreach Manager at Sage Community Resources in Boise.
