You read the Transporter each week.
You want to know the latest information about what’s happening within the transportation department.
You need to become a “fan” of ITD and follow it on Twitter!
Just go to the department's Web page (itd.idaho.gov) Near the top right corner you’ll see icons for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and ITD In Motion Webcasts. Click on Facebook and see the latest “Wall” articles, photo albums (including historic pictures), and videos. By setting up your own Facebook account (which is free), you can become a fan of ITD and start receiving important updates about ITD events, programs and people.
Click on the Twitter icon and read ITD's latest tweets about road construction and safety information. Check out our YouTube Channel by clicking on the corresponding icon and see ITD’s library of public service announcements and groundbreaking ceremony videos, among other topics.
Finally, click on the In Motion Webcasts and watch the videos ITD has created to educate the public about safety issues and to showcase some of the department’s successes.
It’s important for transportation department employees to stay informed and to pass along positive information to friends and associates. You are ITD’s best ambassadors. Together we can let the public know of ITD accomplishments that normally don’t make it onto evening newscasts and into morning newspapers.
