Thanks for outstanding conference
Alan Frew, Administrator
Dear Mr. Frew,
Our National Association of Hearing Officials (NAHO) annual professional development conference in Boise Sept. 20-23 was a great success. We were gratified to hear a good deal of positive feedback. I would like to share with you a few of the evaluation comments from the conference.
Overall conference was terrific, courses, meals and especially entertainment
A training presentation of this scope and quality is a very large undertaking. We cannot overstate how much we appreciate the support of your agency and the contributions of your staff. Your sponsorship made it possible for us to fulfill our goal to provide the most substantive, cost-effective training available to administrative hearing officials. We are particularly gratified that your agency continued to support this event in a very challenging budget year.
We hope that the 2009 national conference presentations and opportunities for professional development will continue to benefit your agency, your state, and all the attendees, far into the future. On behalf of NAHO, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your great and crucial assistance.
Bonny M. Fetch, president
Blood donations make difference in community
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the blood drive held this summer. There were nine generous donors registered and we were able to collect eight units of life-sustaining blood. Donating blood is a precious gift that can make a lifetime of difference to the recipient, and every donor’s contribution is valued.
The time and effort you and the Idaho Transportation Department put forth in organizing this important event is deeply appreciated. You have helped save many lives with your gifts. Blood is something that no one can live without, and healthy volunteer donors are our only resource.
Your next blood drive is scheduled for Nov. 9… Thank you again for making a difference in your community.
