Boise bicycle organization sponsors week-long event
A week-long event that draws attention to the benefits of bicycling and a number of related activities is planned next week in Boise. Boise Bike Week begins Monday and continues through Saturday (May 17). Held in conjunction with national bike week, the Boise event promotes all forms of bicycling.
The events emphasize the Boise area as a "great cycling community" and encourages biking to work, provides resources for commuting and encourages riders to have fun. Activities culminate with a Pedal Power Parade Saturday (May 17).
Boise Bike Week is presented by the Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance. For more information visit the organization's Web site or go to the Boise Bike Week site.
