Supervisors and managers in public agencies are eligible to apply for entry into Idaho’s Certified Public Manager program. It consists of five levels of training, totaling 300 hours, and takes three years to complete.
Participation increases advancement opportunities by giving a valuable skill base that can be transferred to any public agency. It provides current, state-of-the-art practices on a wide range of management topics in a structured program that leads to a formal, widely accepted certificate. And it rewards high achievers while increasing knowledge, skills and abilities.
