Gov. Dirk Kempthorne recently reappointed Gary Blick, a partner with his brothers in operating Blick Brothers Farms, to the Idaho Transportation Board for another six-year term. The appointment will be forwarded to the Idaho Legislature for official endorsement this session.
Blick represents eight counties that comprise ITD’s District 4, with headquarters in Shoshone: Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka and Twin Falls counties.
He was first appointed to the transportation in 1969
and this year enters his third term.
He has a long history of community involvement in the Magic Valley, having volunteered in a number of organizations: the Boy Scouts of America, the Twin falls County Fair Board, the Castleford Methodist Church, the Castleford Men’s Club and Little League.
