We will not attempt to obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. The Idaho Transportation Department, unless otherwise noted on an individual web page, or web site, collects and parses only the following information on visitors to our site.

For SITE MANAGEMENT, we collect  information for statistical purposes. Our computer system uses software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, seeing what information is of most and least interest to visitors, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.

For SITE SECURITY purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, our computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic and to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
