Idaho 75 - Blaine County Projects



Project Descriptions

The page is to describe ITD-administered construction projects taking place on Idaho 75 and U.S. 20 within Blaine County. Regular updates of construction activities for each project will be provided for general use only – dates and activities may change throughout construction.

ID-75: Jct. US-20 to Milepost 105.6

Project Key No.: 12068
Work will consist of a thin-lift asphalt plantmix overlay from milepost 102.1 to 105.6 followed by a chip-seal coat from milepost 102.2 to 107 and will include the Timmerman Rest Area parking lot.

ID-75: Hailey to Ketchum

Project Key No.: 12408
The project consists of preventative maintenance techniques from the north end of Hailey through Ketchum (milepost 117-129).  The project will repair sections of road on a temporary basis until reconstruction can be achieved.  The project involves a combination of site-specific roadway milling and inlay paving, asphalt plantmix overlay, and a microseal.  Microseal to be completed in summer, 2012.

ID-75: Frenchman Creek to Stanley

Project Key No.: 12214
Work will consist of a thin-lift asphalt plantmix overlay followed by a chip-seal coat from near the Frenchman Creek turnout through upper Stanley (milepost 162.9 to 190.0). Project will include new guardrail and roadside delineators. Chip-seal to be completed in summer, 2012.

US-20: Poison Creek to Milepost 181.1

Project Key No.: 11601 & 12077
Work will consist of a thin-lift asphalt plantmix overlay followed by a chip-seal coat from milepost 171.1 to 181.1. Project includes bridge maintenance to the Big Wood River Bridge at milepost 176 (Stanton Crossing).
