Idaho Transportation Department's Excellence in Transportation Award
The Excellence in Transportation Award recognizes achievement in the development and construction of projects related to transportation. The award categories are:
- Transportation Planning
- Environmental Stewardship
- Public Participation
- Design
- Construction
Awards will be given in each category for both small (Construction < $1,000,000) and large (Construction >= $1,000,000) projects.
Award Presentation:

Recipients of the Excellence in Transportation Award will be announced at the 2007 Project Development Conference banquet on April 4 th , 2007.
Award Timeline:
- Jan. 12 th , 2007 Request for Nominations
- Mar. 2 nd , 2007 Nomination Deadline
- Apr. 4 th 2007 Award Presentation
Award Criteria:
- Eligibility: Any firm/agency engaged in transportation related projects in Idaho is eligible to enter.
- General Criteria: Submitted projects must be located in Idaho and “mostly designed” in Idaho .
- Evaluation Criteria : Please refer to the application form for details on the evaluation criteria.
One award will be given in each category and a project may be entered in as many categories as desired. A separate application must be submitted for each category. One 24" x 36" mounted display panel illustrating the project must accompany each award application.
The Idaho Transportation Department will not be responsible for any damage or loss to entrant's materials.
