Graphics
Clear, concise visuals are an integral part of Environmental documents.
Professional graphics and publications provide the reader an intuitive flow
of information and easier comprehension throughout the document. For details
see chapters 3 & 4 of “Improving
the Quality of Environmental Documents.”
During the planning, design and construction phases, there is a need
for a variety of visuals that provide understanding, clarity and consistency
to the project. A few graphic examples include: customized maps, drawings
or charts to demonstrate project impacts; “before” and “after”
photography to visualizes the project; and a logo for project identity
in documents, displays and web sites.
For questions about visuals, graphic resources, production, technical
support, department logo, and archives, please contact the department’s
