120-hour Trip Permits ExamplesPower Unit is registered for Idaho and trailer is registered with Idaho or another state. No Permit Fee is required. Power Unit is not registered for Idaho and trailer(s) is registered in Idaho. Combination Permit Fee is $120.00. Power Unit is registered for Idaho but trailer is not registered at all with any state. Single Permit Fee is $60.00 Power Unit is registered for Idaho and the two following trailers are not registered at all with any state. Combination Permit Fee is $120.00 (No matter how many trailers the maximum is $120.00)
A single temporary permit in lieu of full registration may not be purchased when operating in combination with one or more trailers or semitrailers. Example: Registered or unregistered trailer(s) operating in combination with an unregistered tractor or truck tractor will be required to purchase a temporary permit for a combination of vehicles.
