102.13 Licensing of Bidders. Each bidder
submitting a proposal for a contract which does not involve the expenditure of
federal funds shall be licensed as set forth in Subsection 107.03 prior to
submitting a bid. For contracts to be paid wholly or in part from federal
funds, the successful bidder shall be licensed as set forth in Subsection
107.03 prior to awarding the contract.
107.03 Licensing of Contractors. Bidders shall
be licensed in the state of Idaho by the Idaho Public Works Contractors License
Board in the class and type specified for the value and scope of work to be
done in accordance with the provisions of Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code as
amended. On projects involving federal funds, the bidder shall possess or
obtain a license in the class and type above mentioned prior to award of
contract. On projects involving state funds only, the bidder shall possess a
license in the type and class specified prior to submitting the bid upon said
project. Subcontractors that are required to be listed in the bid proposal
shall possess a license of the type and class specified prior to submission of
the bid on state finance project.
Subcontractors undertaking to perform any work covered by the
contract must possess or obtain a license as above.
