Project Number: A011(977) Background
In 2001, the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) and ITO completed a cooperative planning effort called the I-84 Corridor study. The study examined the transportation system needs I-84 corridor from the WYE Interchange to Idaho 44 west of Caldwell. The study recommended specific improvements that warranted further evaluation and implementation. The recommendation was included in the COMPASS study.
Schedule
Final design and ROW acquisition for this project were completed January 2010. Construction began in March 2010 and was completed in October 2010.
