Mission Statement

To serve the public, other department personnel, contractors, and outside agencies by promptly providing construction assistance; reviewing contracts for compliance with plans and specifications; assuring contracts are uniformly administered statewide; and by performing claims analysis as required.

We envision forging a cohesive partnership with the traveling public, contractors, design consultants, utility companies, other ITD departments, and outside agencies.  We visualize serving and supporting this partnership by providing quality, timely and consistent construction contract administration services for a multi-modal, multi-funding source transportation system that will serve an increasing number of customers.  We foresee continued improvements in technology that will enable us to fully automate all of our services.  This automation will allow us to provide faster service by improving the accuracy of historical databases, eliminating redundancy, and improving communications among all partners.
