- New form of identification required for registering, titling vehicles (July 1, 2009)
Beginning July 1, 2009, individuals registering a motor vehicle in Idaho or seeking a vehicle title will need to provide a full legal name, along with either an Idaho driver’s license number, Idaho-issued ID card number, social security number (SSN), or employer identification number (EIN) for businesses. A verifiable physical address and mailing addresses also will be required.
